For us, striving for a sustainable business is nothing new; over the years, it has been a given to take responsibility in these matters. We aim to use resources efficiently, and we are committed to social issues and to the community in which we operate. We work actively to reduce negative environmental impact, including preventive measures to avoid chemical emissions. Since our operations are located within a water protection area, this is an especially important issue.

Circularity, resource efficiency, emission reduction, energy efficiency, and social issues are the sustainability areas we focus on and work on systematically. We aim to be a good employer and ensure a positive work environment with high levels of safety, well-being, and opportunities for professional development for our most valuable resource – our employees. An example of our community engagement is the support we provide to research and local organizations through our ownership foundation.
We work actively with our suppliers to ensure that our sustainability requirements are met in their operations. Sustainability considerations are part of all decision-making within our organization, and we have worked to foster a shared understanding among our employees of the importance of our contribution to society’s transition.

Nominit is active in the community and supports both local initiatives and research. For example, we sponsor a number of local organizations in both sports and culture. We always strive to promote equality and inclusion in our sponsorships and collaborations.
